I have just found a recipe for chocolate cracknell, or chocolate concrete as we called it. My mum used to be a school cook and we had this with pink custard if I remember correctly.

my son loves the stuff and wanted his gran to make him some, but as mum is 93, she won't be able to make it for him anymore, not to mention we live about 120 miles from Brum, so I decided I'll make it for him.

I make make it over the weekend. That will keep him happy.

I tried the most tasty soda farls over in Belfast and the mate came up with the idea..
I'll post them over to you occasionally..
Two weeks later, first lot arrived..blue mouldy...7 days in the post..
another try, same again.....

Sat on the right side of Gatwick airport in the departure area.
Bit of a pig of a journey last night with delays on one service and a failure on the Gatwick Express.
Well Mr C you never worked out my flight, so I will make it EASY for you and the time is 11:50. Ha ha

You think he'd have used the airport WiFi to let us know his baggage is on the same holiday as he is!
