I've only been there for a day.Yes. It rained.
So much so that they were obviously afraid to turn on the massive illuminations and open anything.
The campsite was full, wouldn't even squeeze a small two man tent in, so we spent half an hour looking round town then went to Betwys Coed instead.

My father in law is called Roger.. on the way up to see him near Cardigan we pass a sign for Llandarog... which is of course, to us 'The land of Rog'.
