He's on time, text me to say he is on the bus as I type this. He should be at the hotel for 19:00 that's our time here we are +1hr.
Have to keep him calm tomorrow, did 83 miles today to the monastery at Randa. 5km climb right at the end of the outbound leg.
Views of the whole of the island were there today as it was clear and you can pick the individual towns out all over the island. Magnificent views.
Didn't bother stopping for lunch last part of return was hard, had to stop at garage for emergency supplies 15 miles from home.
Coke and mars bar did the trick, was on the verge of blowing big time.
My fault for trying to do a non stopper

Big solar storm now in progress, highly probable aurora lights tonight if sky clears....
sadly cloudy skies forecast for here..

yep - I got the aurora alert earlier.... would be nice to see it if I can stay awake but I doubt it will come this far south sadly though if it includes NI I stand a little tiny chance here!
