Has anyone been watching Great Canal Journeys with Prunella Scales and Timothy West??

We only put it on record 'cos they were visiting the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies which is just along the road, but I have to say I've really enjoyed the whole series - they remind me of my mum and dad somehow, though I'm not into the "luvvie/darling" bit. I suppose as actors that comes naturally.

Most of you lot are pensioners so you're bound to have watched it!!

Yes, fairly mild though apparently it's getting worse - best bit is when she is standing there having forgotten what she is supposed to do and he gets in a grump about it, in an amusing "I can imagine me being like that" and not laughing at her illness, obviously.

Hmmm, why is @Edwardoka hanging around the Tea thread all of a sudden, liking but not posting?

Are you stalking me Young Edmund? Did you follow me home last night?? What it you at the kitchen window?!?!?

I watched one episode of it to see if they got into any escapades like we did on the Caley canal. So far, no, although she did forget to cast off once. No signs of them running aground at Urquhart Castle or ending up facing backwards stuck between the pontoon and the shore.

Ah so you are posting! Did you hire one of those expensive big white things??

There's something quite quaint about it, perhaps it's just the canal boats - gotta love a narrowboat!
