SL, does anything happen if you try to rename the card in the Mac? It seems to know it's there.. have you got a card reader/adaptor to read it in (as an alternative) or is it a dedicated built in reader?

Helllllppppppp!!!!!!!

I have a problem.
I have a micro SD card in my Galaxy tab. I put it in my Macbook to wipe it tonight, so I could put some different stuff on it, and it wouldn't wipe.
So I put it back in the tab and re formatted it from there.

Then I put it back to my Macbook to add stuff...nothing....it won't add anything.
Here's a screen shot of what it says on the info.....note the dates!!!

Any ideas? Anyone?

It was named 'Samsung' or something...but since re formatted thats gone

I know fat32 is how usb sticks are formatted for a pc, but after that I'm knackered.

No.

Try the formatter software I linked to, often there can be a glitch in the system one.. I use a Windows laptop but a third party formatter as the PC's often reports gobbledygook numbers but the software I use recovers it to normal.

It won't even re-name.

Use the software to find the card, probably now called 'No Name' and choose to format it.
Careful not to do your main drive! If you're not confident just don't do it...
