Tried formatting it in the device you'll be using it in?Helllllppppppp!!!!!!!
I have a problem.
I have a micro SD card in my Galaxy tab. I put it in my Macbook to wipe it tonight, so I could put some different stuff on it, and it wouldn't wipe.
So I put it back in the tab and re formatted it from there.
Then I put it back to my Macbook to add stuff...nothing....it won't add anything.
Here's a screen shot of what it says on the info.....note the dates!!!
Any ideas? Anyone?

It was named 'Samsung' or something...but since re formatted thats goneSL, does anything happen if you try to rename the card in the Mac? It seems to know it's there.. have you got a card reader/adaptor to read it in (as an alternative) or is it a dedicated built in reader?
Also, try this formatter in the mac Link
Ooo bossy nursey, nice.Shut up and help!!!![]()
I couldn't do anything with it ClassicTried formatting it in the device you'll be using it in?
No.Write protection on?
Is it possible that the "write protect" switch on the SD card is set to read-only?
Does it fit in an adapter?
It won't even re-name.SL, does anything happen if you try to rename the card in the Mac? It seems to know it's there.. have you got a card reader/adaptor to read it in (as an alternative) or is it a dedicated built in reader?

Use the software to find the card, probably now called 'No Name' and choose to format it.It won't even re-name.
I've installed...what now?
