Wish this weather would behave. Drier and brighter this morning but the wind is already picking up. OK for walking but I struggle cycling in the wind. Maybe just some extra walking instead I think.

I've just said good morning to the wood pecker banging on the window (roof window so on slope) eating the suet block thinking it was my husband knocking on the bedroom door to wake me, only to hear him walk upstairs, knock on the door and come in! It didn't half confuse both him and me! Him because I said hello to him at the bottom of the stairs and me because I was half asleep thinking...

Dad feeds the birds and they come down to his garden a lot. I love watching them. Just the Greater Spotted or whatever you call them, not the Green.
