I'm back playing with big pieces of oak, so it doesn't matter what the weather does. In fact, as I seeded a sizeable area of lawn yesterday, I hope it rains.

Shouldn't be too hard, that last piece. 172 is still seeing if he can find me though.

Have you been wet Mrs D?
Manged 40 miles, but nearly jacked it in after 15 when the rain started. Turned for home but after 3 or 4 miles it stopped and a couple of miles further on, the roads were completely dry so I carried on. It really is a case of dodging the rain lately as it was pouring down yesterday morning, but by the late afternoon it had dried up so I went out for 30 miles after 18:00 and it was very nice apart from the strong wind.

Forecast seemed to be showing unsettled over the weekend and into the early part of next week on the BBC last night.
But the forecast was only partly right this morning, it rained for 10 minutes or so and it was also quite localised so lets hope they are wrong again
