Saffron Walden! Bl**dy hell, you're close.

If you pop around, this is where I make the tea:

This is where we'd bake the cake (we can't burn it yet, as there's no cooker hood!):

And if you stayed for a drink, this is where the wine rack will be:

Here's a gratuitous photo of the recycling bin  :

Nice kitchen. I'm a fanatical cook but have a tiny kitchen at home. The one here at my friend's house is also stupidly tiny - with NO dishwasher!!!

Good afternoon all tea vagrants and hangers on. Its just turned sunny here in Saffron Walden and its a market day... so off I will trot, soon. Tonight I'm making a lamb curry with spinach and asafetida as a side dish. Perhaps home-made naan bread...

Came back home, got the bike stand out and did a little front derailleur adjustment. changed the previous camera mount because the camera was interfering with the Garmin's GPS reception.

Ive still got to do the laundry and do a little cleaning.

Whisky will sure come in handy today!

Coincidence. I just bought some of this very whisky for my friend's birthday (the friend I'm staying with). Its not until Monday though!

Thank you. We don't have a dishwasher yet either, but I've left a space.

We're keen cooks too, and like entertaining. The kitchen is the most important room in the house for us.
You'll have the rest of the house. And you're reserving a space!!

Certain there isn't a smaller room that's just, if not more important?

Bl**dy flat tyres!

I'd just got the dinner out of the oven when my wife rang, half an hour from home, to say that the car had got a flat tyre. So, I had to shoot out and change the wheel.......which meant that we didn't sit down to eat until 8.15ish.

So what? Well, today was a fasting day (yeah, I continued eating cakes after I stopped building a couple of months ago), and so I hadn't eaten anything since 6 o'clock the previous day. 26 hours without a single morsel passing my lips! Dinner tasted good.

They're only flat where they meet the road though!
