Neat trick. The wheel is ever-so-slightly flatter than it should be, too, no doubt, after bumping up a kerb on a completely flat tyre. Luckily, despite being on a hill, she left it on a completely level bit of ground.

Out by bike to rescue a car then.Fairly steep hill with a flat bit by a farm gate. Damned busy road, too, but luckily the flat was on the passenger side.
I've managed the rear wheel off a tractor. Granted the total distance was just over half a mile. But a car wheel is a bit smaller.Half an hour's drive......therefore an hour and a half's ride away. So no, i went in the van. Besides, i didn't know if the wheel would come off or that the spare would be OK (it's 2 months since I checked), so I might have had to lock the car up and abandon it for the night, and bring my wife home. Not easy on a Specialised Roubaix!![]()
A bit more snow promised overnight.Good afternoon folk. Sun, then rain, then sleet, then snow. Now just very windy.
Started earlier this morning around three.Did it get held up at the Border?![]()
Its headed your way though! Set to drop to minus 15 this weekend as well.Snow? What are you lot on about? It's crackin' t' flags down here. Snowdrops have nearly gone over, the daffs are having a second bout of flowering, the blackthorn is starting to blossom, bluebells are 4 inches high, and the wild primroses have been flowering for a fortnight.
Give 'em a chance!
