Best start getting regular miles in @SteCenturion and regular rides.
Then start to build your distance up.
You cant do the odd ride here and there, then hope to do a one off big ride. Well you may succeed but it will be hell

Morning. Can't be bothered doing anything this morning.

Meeting the minister to discuss dad's service at 10am. I feel like I'm stuck in limbo just now. Over a week since we lost him and still a week tomorrow until we get to say our final goodbye. Maybe I can move on a bit after that.

Having lived there for five years, I'd suggest "ruling out Birmingham, straightaway" is a good guideline for a happy life.
