Why is there?
Well, there was a copy that relied more on the knife edge to do the same job in France. Having seen that one in action, he'd a model made and took flight back to France, before he got "up close & personal" with it.

Having lived there for five years, I'd suggest "ruling out Birmingham, straightaway" is a good guideline for a happy life.


Ssshhh... They already think they're independent, don't spoil it.


Geographically or metaphysically?

Being Yorkshire born an bred, with the odd trips to places such as Birmingham, London, North & Mid Wales. Lancashire, Glasgow, Edinburgh & parts of The Highlands. I feel I can say with some confidence that the "reformations" forced upon us in April 1974, with folk waking up to find they were now no longer in Yorkshire, is proof that we can't trust any of those who have put themselves forard for the Yorkshire Parliment. They don't want us choosing if we want them or not. There's at least one from London!!!
