When i lived in Newcastle city centre there were loads but were useless as to many cars and buses go through the lights and get stuck as the lights change leaving anyone a path through

So far, no reported deaths or serious injuries - which is a bit of a miracle. The infrastructure is pretty much gone, though.

I took my mate on a 6k sky ride, he rides 2miles a day most days but he has no road sence, I took him on a skyride for beginners 6ķ, to get him out more, I told him tobe careful and beware of whose behind and passing ect, we didn't get halfway round before he did a sudden stop and brought down a whole pack of riders, luckily no damage or injuries as it was a slow impact,

Possibly. You were given the chance and you turned it down, pedal power from 05:30 to 22:00, on four wheels.
A little over five foot high at the back and still a lorry driver claimed he never saw me, the only vehicle in front of him headed in the same direction, on a bright and clear morning. Car driver coming downhill drew level with me, forcing him to stop. So there are a few out there.

Feeling angry at the moment. Seeing the posts on the internet about how Syrian refugees shouldn't be helped until those Canadians that have been displaced by the Fort McMurray fire are re-housed... Along with a whole slew of other posts which make me very angry indeed. It's not a f*cking competition.

Riding on the roads for the first time, my cycling proficiency lessons from 30 odd years ago came back. I am quite pleased that I can still look over my shoulder and not wobble too much.

I don't know what an ASL box is. I could Google it.

ASL's are very common in Peterborough..its a cycle friendly City, we have the green wheel etc miles of cycle routes and lanes.

Do you drive? It's the advanced stop line for cyclists at traffic lights, the box with a picture of a bike in it, into which cars should not go (and motorcycles, but they don't seem to know that).

Yes. Know what it is but didn't know what it was called. In fact I heard a phone in where motorists were saying they thought it dangerous for bikes to go in front.
