Good afternoon Tea lovers. Its greyed over here but still rather warm. I'm cooking up a beef curry for tonight.

Let's hope so. I must say, I did feel I could go farther, maybe next time.
Its always worth remembering that you have to come back (or is it a circuit?). I once walked for miles and miles. Lovely day so I went on walking. Then I realised I'd have to walk back...

It was a circuit so it was okay. We have worked out we can add another 5 miles to it too so next time we will aim for 15 miles.

Pedal less(freewheel more) on the return. You'll have increased your distance, for a bit of extra effort.
I loved freewheeling on a slight downhill bit. I felt 13 again! Sun on my back, no cars, it was absolute bliss.

Any good at slow speeds. Have a go at freewheeling on a quiet stretch of road. An almost flat section near me, if quiet, Ill try it. Pedal as far as the same mark everytime and from there see how far I'll get.
Slight breeze and I get to try "sailing". Just over half a mile and then downhill from there. Last 2 miles often completed without a pedal being turned.
