I had a great LBS like this. Give them as much support as you can - many, mine included, disappeared because of the on-line firms.

I certainly do. When I went in to buy my bike the lad was infinitely patient with me, lifting bikes down so that I could try them, he also assured me that having a 16" frame does not make me a midget.

When I went back to pick it up, they had fitted my pannier rack and then took another long time to show me how the gears worked, (I was used to twisty gears not having some on both hands) and how to take the quick release wheel off.

The reviews were so so online but everyone from the owner down have been lovely. I shall have to write them a glowing review.

Good afternoon all and sundry. Raining here but cooler which suits me. I think I have gone made. I've taken to wearing my hair in bunches. I'm sure it shouldn't be allowed. The woman next door is weirder though - she has bright turquoise hair.

I do bunches too! French braids as well when I am on camp like this

Good afternoon all and sundry. Raining here but cooler which suits me. I think I have gone mad or I'm regressing or something. I've taken to wearing my hair in bunches. I'm sure it shouldn't be allowed at my age. The woman next door is weirder though - she has bright turquoise hair.

When I was young people used to say "act your age, not your shoe size" and that was in the days of the imperial shoe sizes. Now that I'm old I'm determined to act my shoe size, even if it's the continental size, at every opportunity. Life's a party .

I can't do it for myself, one of my other Guide Leaders does it for me. Normal bunches I can do and love

In that case I'm 6 (or 39)! My youngest daughter has huge feet (size 8) as does my youngest son (size 13) so they are both older than me.

Heheheh. wrong colour uniform, otherwise Godwins Law would most definitely come in to play at some point
