They can be tricky. My first go I had bits pinging everywhere and a lot of cursing. Lol. I eventually found, after fitting a couple of sets, that if the stays need cut to length, the best way was to fit everything together and get the guards sitting nicely, tighten everything up and then snip the ends off with a decent pair of bolt cutters.I thought I would be a lot slower in the rain, but I have just ridden to work in 16 minutes, it usually takes me 20. I have also discovered I need mudguards on my bike, I am absolutely filthy. As you all know, I know nothing about these things, are they easy to get and fix to my bike?
