Think most birds will have finished nesting now apart from the flying rats. Think they breed almost all year round.
Are the swallows gathering on the wires yet?

Won't be long before they fly South.

I'm sure there is something about cutting roadside hedgerows..

Nesting birds
You must not do any work which might harm nesting birds or destroy their nests. You’ll usually find nesting birds during the main nesting and breeding season from 1 March to 31 August.

I'll stick the perpetrator in..
I headed the last five miles slowly with a wobble, no doubt I had a wiggle:laugh:

Usually the last full weekend of August. Which was last week.

They are back,
