You know you have an invitation. I even made it easier for you: all you have to do is follow the Rhine.

We've just been out for our walk and we got blasted by about a dozen snowflakes - total whiteout:laugh:

Looks like we may be on the northern edge of any snow - it's forecast for SE of NI. With any luck we'll remain snow free overnight.🤞
Hope you didn't get lost in the whiteout, given you're new to the area.

There's snow, heavy, to the west of you. Foxford, County Mayo. Knowing the person reporting it, it'll have started sticking.

Snow, glorious snow,
all light and fluffy,
I reckon I could blow it away:laugh:

Anyhoo...
Good morning/afternoon/evening:hello:
Enough for a snowball fight.
It'll be one way of clearing your path I suppose.

Anyway
Morning??

That's roight tha nos.

We can't have you with no snow. Maybe Bob could blow some in your direction.
We've sun here, following on from a clear sky this morning.

Speaking of 'blowing', I had my latest 'toy' delivered this morning - a leaf blower/vac - so I had a quick go in the back garden. It was good fun and I'm happy with the machine. I'll have to wait for the deep leaf litter and the lawns to dry a bit but I think it'll be a useful bit of kit over the years.

See, it's just a case of mind over matter.

We've a long winter this time. Expect snow late next month!
Snow kidding:eek::laugh:
No great thaw in the sunshine so it'll stay for a few days..

We used backpack blowers at work and they were amazing especially after years of wielding a Trigger brush/rake on the my then local cycle path, we could 'blow' clean the tarmac surface at normal walking pace..
if we cut the 2.5 mile section, it'd take a week to brush it, 45 mins walk and clean..
and as for blowing leaves, as someone who spent many a braindead day brushing and raking,
I'm debating a wee petrol mower for my postage stamp..

I have about 200-250m2 in lawn with a lot of leaf shedding shrubs around the edges of the back half of that. Both lawns are more moss than grass so some moss killing and removal are required as well as the leaf removal.

The leaf blower/vac arrived today and I have a small cordless lawnmower and a small corded lawn raker on the way. Gone are the days when I would just use a manual rake and brush & shovel. It's about 20-25 years since I last raked moss and thatch from a postage stamp sized lawn but I still remember the arm/shoulder/back ache!
