It's not your kettle and you broke it.

and with that,
Good morning tea people![]()
What's tha mean "half true"?Half true.
I'm in a "holiday apartment" so I doubt the kettle was well made: it was intended to make the odd cup of strawberry fragranced Germanditchwatertea every month or so, not keep up with British drinking habits.
Das boot, no?Viking funeral surely?
Owdo
Why not, he's the Rhine nearby!Das boot, no?
Grass topped, surprisingly under two buckets of cuttings..
Other domestic duties in progress
Carry on.......regardless![]()
Why not, he's the Rhine nearby!
No hole in your bucket is there.
Will do.
You don't "pitch in the river", you place on board a small ship, set the ship alight and let it go with the flow.I'm not schlepping a deceased kettle 30k to pitch it in the river.

Can you dig a hole in the garden, during the night, and bury it there?
It's a river, there's bound to be a suitable one you could use.You want me to carry a ship as well?
You want me to carry a ship as well?
There's more than a few doing nothing..It's a river, there's bound to be a suitable one you could use.
At a push, a plank with kindling placed around the kettle. A miniature, floating bonfire if you like.
There's more than a few doing nothing..

an Up Helly Ya and a decent send off
save the plug, you never know...
sailing away as Jack sings
Mr C, a connection between Jack Buchanan and television ?..
a cryptic one...
He could probably get "one or two" off one of those. The fire would probably be an insurance claim, possible dodgy kettle to blame.
It might just work, and he'd have a spare to boot.
That'd be Ken Richmond!
How'd you mean?Sirrah, your mind works in devious ways.
The cruise boats don't generally pass here though, so I'd have to hurl the kettle onto a passing cargo boat, and I'm not sure they'd like that.
Rhine cruise boats don't use the Rhine, unbelievable.
How far can you Wang the kettle then!
And there's a few that do, more akin to a coach on water. There's quite a lot of Rhine, and they tend to stay in the more dramatic bits like the gorge just south of Koblenz (where the pic above was taken I think: I recognise the castle)
Good question. Lemme know if you see it in a couple of minutes.
