7 sounds better than 4 in that.4 gave me HF privileges, 7 gave me 50 mhz and up (VHF to Microwave) privileges, the morse test was eventually done away with..
You had to pass the RAE exam anyway to get either..

Buy any decent ones. And why were you dubbin stones! Granted you say they were Cotswold, but that doesn't fully explain your actions.
