Quite a bit of activity last week in the Baltic of NATO planes..
FR24 have a Most Tracked Flights box on its main page ( but you'll know that), I feed them..

33 interesting flights over my sky today...so far, occasional double spot...
Had to head home when out, felt a tweak so decided just avoided hilly bits, I was out late.
Nice out..
The Yankees of course,
Il Giro? not really bothered..-

Any visual sightings of military aircraft.
You listened to those weather forecasters, and believed them. This causing you to be late out?

Sunday 13.00 first rain forecast...(aye, right)
I'll repeat tomorrow night, just a light spray does.
I should have asked Il Giro to send some rain over..
rotten cold wet day again for them...

Oot, you're not long back in!
They're being well paid, unlike us.

We have some of the heavier stuff fly over from time to time. A V-22 earlier this year, SAR helicopters, RN Merlin's.

Get the odd one but most take the W tract from the SW to NA, others use a higher tract if going to Canada etc..

The military tend to stick to the east coast, think of the "golf balls", as though they're testing/defending defences. High flyers used to be civilian aircraft. Not so much this last year though.

I saw the darkening sky
but more in case the grass got 'burnt',
old habit from 'feeding' bowling and golf greens...
nice mild day...

It does tend to get darker at night. You don't get enough sun to burn the grass, or do you.
Once you'd fed your garden, you fed yourself I hope.
Bit of a mist, clearing slowly,down these parts.
