No soldering iron, that makes things awkward. Buy another, the more you spend on it the quicker the other will turn up.
Walls are usually a good place to hang things on. You've just to decide which wall.

Nope, an Antex..
now I have to stop my hands shaking
Been awhile since I've done any serious soldering..
Save it for a snowy winters day..
this lead free solder is useless stuff as it 'spikes' easy..

I've two Antex irons, 15 and 25 watt.
Always handy to have hands that aren't shaky. You burn yourself less.

Try some less serious soldering, see how that goes. Then get serious. Snowy day, you might be waiting a while!

Dunno, it has fair cooled down lately..
plenty berries showing on Rowan trees so maybe a , maybe not

I just want a whip to take down to the canal for a spot of maggot swimming..

so no checking the score during the night...
I'll need to make a list of other tackle I'll need....
must do some noseying amongst anyone fishing along the canal banks, an excuse for a wander..
probably find no one, most folk are fishing for Esox.....
Must try and build a carrying tube for the bike....
anyhoo I'm off

Fly fishing for old Esox is a big thing now...
haven't tried it though.. but think of the scrap..
The Carron flows less than a Km away, brown trout, salmon and sea trout, £50 a yearly permit.
