Having stayed in Largs for 6 years,
how could I forget the magnificent Knickerbocker Glories of Nardinis.
That place was so cool with its wicker seats and views across to Great Cumbrae and Bute.. once buses had passed
the ice cream was to die for.....
another windy trip west along the canal today,
looking for anglers to get some tips and hints,
always worth stopping for a chat. (at a reasonable distance apart)...
was heading to Kirkie but ran into heavy rain so just headed back enjoying a tailwind..

Did you find any willing to pass on their secrets. Can you get a reasonable distance apart on a towpath.
Can believe the rain part, but as for the tailwind part yer imagining things.

This cafe was none of yer plastic anything, wicker chairs and tables,
30s feel.
last time I bought any ice cream, it coast an arm and a leg but worth it..
I just get the odd mcFlurry, Beag fair scoffs them

They did have some waitress service,
I haven't been in there since phew, who knows when.
Self service more likely now...
He doesn't get that bad habit from me..
