A few pike anglers about..
a bit hard to put up the big green fishing umbrella on these banks..
car parking areas were empty.
Some grit just weeped out my eye..
I had to take off the specs for the last 8 miles home as no windscreen wipers

A person of leisure sounds better than OAP, pensioner, retiree etc...

I used that tip with my motorbike lid..
it was just the constant rain...
I have reaction coating plus they seriously mank up at times...

I remember doing the shiny bum slide off my motorbike on wet cobbles,
luckily it was on a corner,
there were rails so back wheel out and Bob landed on his bum upright and slid along.
Bloke in car stopped and couldn't stop laughing....
Bike okay then off out to hospital visit..

Wild card game at least so season not over yet..

I was lucky iy was wet, and it was a 90degree corner.

then it could be anything up to 17 / 18 playoff (that's the finalists amount)
plus there are 30 spring training (pre-season)
busy schedule..

The 'Evil Empire', yes.....
Thought I'd go out over lunch as the forecast implied the wind speed was to slowly go down, WRONG, I think it got windier..
No set route planned but on the way back, I came to path junction, '1ml Fallin' and a no clear indication where so in true Bob fashion I headed the wrong way and ended back up in Bannockburn where I'd passed through earlier so easiest way back home....
Nice out, mostly dry....

Don't you like it when you end up somewhere you've already been. Normally it's when I stop and ask for directions, that it happens.

I hadn't intended returning back the same route..
a deviation off it is fine. New roads and tracks so not that bad..
Day off tomorrow so parcel duty,
hopefully an early delivery but this mob are usually well into the afternoon, hey ho.
Some garden stuff to take care of, sunflowers are done, sweet peas are still producing so leave them until they flower no more,
I'm going to move the mini greenhouse (Aldi's name not mine), more a vertical cold frame, inside the garage to dry out then give it a coat of something, so need to see what is best.
