Had another out today..
two in three days
Pretty gusty on some of the open bits of road,
just toodled along and getting back in the swing of things,
all had gone swimmingly until the water under the motorway bridge..
the 2 ft deep puddle

Owdo
(Only just, a matter of seconds).

You "treated" yourself to some Bucks Fizz! I'd be careful about giving it to someone I disliked.

I'm no Englander! Yorkshire born n'bred me. England comes in third place, at best.
Just as well I drink Guinness, not touching bitter if they serve it warm.


Enjoy the trip later today, and your snorefest.

apart from one or two instances, hard to find was a decent pint of Guinness..
beer standards of Irish pubs were (or might still be)hard to find..
some of the slop I've had poured for me would cause a riot over the sea....
too many folk accept poorly poured beer,
mind you can't remember last pint I've had..

we'd on off rain earlier early AM until before I headed out just before lunch, I'd just got back when it rained a little.
I only found out the puddle was that deep when I headed through it

You plan your rides!!
We'd rain since just after three this morning, lighter as the day went on.
You rode into water not knowing what lay beneath the surface. Are piranhas native to your waters?

Poor Polly has to haul my fat erchie up any hills and the problem is my legs have to power it
Part of that road has been resurfaced in the last year so no holes (I hoped)

She'll up on the stand the morra and washed etc..
Try to have a traditional new year day run, one missed in the last nine years..
a fair bit of wind forecast though..
Salmon, sea trout, broonies (brown trout) only 30 yards away from the bridge.

Heavy snow and horrendous freezing temperatures, possibly as low as three degrees below freezing on the third of next month!

Thought you were training them to throw the fish out to you, once they'd learned to swim.
Not overrun in this area either with tackle shops. Last one moved out of the town centre early 2019.

There's been an increase in earthquake activity, on your side of the border, this year. Almost as though they were started on purpose. Thought all wallets were now empty?

Pull herself together, don't go to pieces.

Intit a bit early for drinking, or late if you stayed up(In which case you'll not get to sleep). Or is it a case of thinking when you're drinking.
I'm with Johnny Logan on this this. I made one resolution years ago, and I've managed not to break it yet. Don't make any New Year resolutions!

It's all we'll be getting as well.
Can it be worse than the old, especially when the snow and "Big Freeze" hit on Monday?
