2nd day in and guess what, the year number is the only thing to be changed..
same old, same old.
On the brightside..
another day started with porridge

How'd you manage only changing the year. Unless you removed two days yesterday.

there again, can the usual lot?
last time I was in the big city, the buskers had amps..
it was a racket...(the noise or the begging)

They'd come after you if the money is in your name, and I don't think they'd accept that answer.
It's nearly all paper/polymer now, but you must see the odd coin or two, even use them when paying for yer coffee.
Not many can, and they all seem to have a "backing tape" that'd drown anything out. I'd have said both were a racket.
Nice old local bylaw down here. No artificial amplification of the voice allowed, and in one of the two speakers corners, less than 70 yards from each other.

They went "cashless" last year did the beggars. Started using contactless card readers, with them setting the amount.

Anything odd on the airwaves?
Come the New Year that's it finished for most these days. They seem to forget there's twelve days of Christmas.

If you don't want them, rather than just throwing them away I'll take them off yer hands for no fee.

Brought out 2-3 years before they went onto the euro. Mines safe.

Now, the new year, used to be the time for odd stuff being heard. Got the set-up for Christmas, spent the week in between getting the basics in place for the new year.
You get yer tae, you deserve it...
