Nowt left in the packet then, or was it so she'd know what she'd planted.

Yours or the one Mo showed?
Into six figures maybe, pushing 7.

First part of that description is wrong, they're not mine. Never seen them before.

Surely the "Scottish Samurai"(lapsed) is up to looking after the "Young Un".

I'd hate to think really,
there once was a 'display' running for just over quarter of a mile on the dual carriageway, narrow beds mostly but some bigguns..plus the local town and park beds, one year we took over another area and four of us spent almost four weeks sold planting out, nights and weekends..
Thankfully it reverted to normal the following year.
Funnily I'd a heart scare brought on by overstretching in some beds, my back didn't enjoy it at all.
Turned out it was muscular, I did the A&E thing thinking the worst:cuppa:
I did enjoy the shows once they flowered, problem was it was the same bloody design, same plants but a different colour,
I learned to hate antirrhinums ( they wouldn't let me nip them)

I love spring bulbs, nothing beats that crowd (or is it a host) of daffodils swaying....
the colours after a winter....

Best you don't then, you might end up sleep walking tonight, out in't garden "planting" things.
One year the local, to me, council spent £10,000 on a special display. Took about two weeks from start to finish, working to the plan/drawing. Shortly after the first of them started poking through, they let loose the ride on lawn mowers to cut the grass. They cut everything, grass display, the lot. Never tried again.

You survived the young un I take. Unless you've been sent to your room.

The advantage we had was a supervisor who told us when (we really knew) to cut the dying back daffodils, makes a massive difference.
Problem is idiots moved up the ladder without an f'in clue..
choose any 90% of them:laugh:

Beag is snoozing...
I'm always in MY room

It was a lack of communication between department heads that led to to the destruction of the work that had been done.
You're right about the idiots moving up though.

Staying the night!
Won't be long before he's decided your room will do him better.

Aaaarrr, you scurvy lot:hello:
'Tis another sunny day here as I sail on the briney sea
(it was a sea millions of years ago apparently)
Off to make Jim Lad walk the plank..
(burnt the toast)
You'll have to cut back his chocolate and biscuit allowance in that case. Unless he's keeping them safe.

You realise it'll chuck it down now the watering has been done.
Cannot do that, I get share:laugh:

I'm domesticated out for the week:cuppa:

More tea, Jim Lad...

oops, need to make my own now:laugh:

Is it that day already!
T'is overcast and there's a storm brewing here.
Quite possible, and possible it wouldn't have been there.
Make him walk the plank anyway, burning yer breakfast/early morning snack can't go unpunished.

You can, you get a larger share of his than before.

That's the problem with hired hands, you'll end up doing the work yourself.

'Want me to wash the car?'
'Okay, if you want'
knowing fine well I'd give it the full treatment....

got my reward..
:cuppa: and toast (not burnt)
plank safely away for another day:laugh:

Roll on the sun swinging round to the other side of the Towers,
slight touch of frost earlier...

I'd up the charge for yer services, at least one cuppa whilst yer washing the car, and another(with toast) when done.

Was it a just and fair payment?
Aye, keep yer plank handy.

No sun down here and into single figures temperature wise.
