Scary sounds like fun.
Narrow paths not made with cycling in mind. How close to an unexpected wash have you got.
"The Dark Tunnel" sounds like it could be a fun place. Have a recording of a horse on cobblestones playing as you go through. Get them wondering what's coming their way.
How much longer is your diversion round it?

You had your bacon and eggs on toast yet. Wouldn't do to disobey orders.

The Falkirk Tunnel is 630 meters long, 18ft-wide, 19ft-high and has a 5ft-wide towpath.
I measured its width and posted on the Irn Bru thread but can't be ersed prowling through it for actual width....

Saturday evening was for the B&W Minstrels round these parts. Dixon of Dock Green would have been around 9pm.

Some of mine is from before that time.

I was oop North in malt whisky country

The place I was staying had a BT hub but had nothing, seriously dial up was lightning fast compared to this...
anyhow I wanted away from the Internetty thing for a few days..
