Busy weekend?

Cross border raid....
A lazy three days in the Lakes, not physically in water, you understand...
Just were lazy, no fells, just mooching about..
Visited our friends this afters and were back in under 2 and 1/2 hours...
I can't remember my password and can't be faffed changing it.
I know it now..

You kept that quiet...
Any distance walking wise covered, aside from car to where you were staying.
Busy doing nothing. Weather okay for yer raid, and did you do yer plundering on yer way back north?
Yer friends visited on yer way back home...
Which password did you forget, and if for here did you tick the box saying keep me logged in.
Who told you!

Leg not up to any upward walking, I think.
Nurse wants to sign me off and decision next Mon morning..
Weather was good, two days sunshine and Monday wasn't that bad so happy, left the Wick of Kes at 4.10 and arrived at the Towers just slightly before 6.30 so not bad considering meeting rush hour traffic approaching Glasgow.
Cracked it as Mrs M favourite bag shop had everything at half price, scored

Downward travel sees more injuries than upward travel. But in order to come down, you must first travel up. Valley walks not counted.
Sign you off. What'll you do with yer appointments upto April?
You struck it lucky, weatherwise, then.
Doesn't sound bad going at all. Were you strapped in all the way back, with Mrs M at the wheel.
Was her favourite bag shop in Wick of Kes, or nearer home. Did you let her buy a second giving the half price tag.
Glad you enjoyed yer border raid.

I just hand my card back...and leave:sad:
I enjoy my twice weekly trips HOPEFULLY soon Polly and me will be free again:wacko:
Tomorrow is big hossie visit, hopefully good news..
Bag place down there, I make the mistake in saying shall we visit ????????, 'Yeah, we'll have a look'

Binnie The Pooh (bin lorry) has just emptied our bin..
A bit breezy but not as we are getting tomorrow, we may be on the edge of it all but rain forecast, they said 3cm is possible.
I looked at my WX for here, 52.4 mm is the most in one day since we moved here. Oh well, a day for the house.
Have set up my old computer (spare) for youngest so finishing touches to do and get it in place tomorrow (maybe).

Did you get invited by the larks? All natural compost...
Did her informing you have the desired effect, that'll be the main thing from her point of view.
You went unprepared! That dun't sound like you.

You didn't get anything on yer cross border raid this time.
Doctors, nurse and and hospital visits I try to keep to a minimum. Too many sick people in those places...
Any further thought given on upgrading her to e-assist?
Here's hoping.
You'd to point out her favorite bag place. She must have been tired not to notice. Big mistake on your part by the sound of things. Next time point out where there's a shop selling 3D printer and supplies.

Ours were done around half nine, recycling will have been since.
Winter to return with a vengeance it seems. Who'd have thought that it could be cold in winter in the UK!
Breezy, with some sunny weather at the moment. Amber warnings to take effect later tonight. Stay inside with Polly, making sure she's fit to be ridden when yer able.
At their house or theirs. Before you know it, they'll be after you for all sorts of stuff to keep them busy.

We released 3 dozen plus one bottles of cider from evil custody:wacko:

Today is the BIG visit with a consultant....
every thing crossed for Bob:ohmy:

I was most worried our bins would take off down the street as it got gusty for a bit.
Rain slowly rising to just under 5mm and gusty, wind up in speed but slightly sheltered from the main direction today.
Must fly

And released them into the wild nearer home...

Yer improvement is as expected?
What could be, anyway.

We've the recycling containers taking off down here.
Rain arrived here just after 12. Remnants of what missed you I suppose.
Heavy weights round yer legs, pockets stuffed, should be enough to stop you doing that.

If lifes highway was a sweet, would that explain the potholes?
Yer not used AI this time.
If life’s highway was a sweet… that would explain the potholes 😄

You’re trundlin’ along enjoyin’ the flavour, then CRUNCH — you’ve hit one of the hard bits that nearly takes a filling out.

Still… wouldn’t be much of a sweet if it was smooth all the way through, eh?

Hope everybody’s dodgin’ the worst of the potholes the day 👍

It means you've mixed too much mint sweeties into the tarmac....
Aye Aye, more genuine than Aye I...

Improvement ?, this doesn't improve, it's 1 mm to the worse which isn't bad considering, I'll take that.
11.9 mm here (the rain not mine...)
Pockets stuffed? they are empty...

The chewy mints would be gone in no time, and no-one would want the humbugs. The liquorice allsorts would never make it to the roadworks.

Imagine riding over the snickers everyday!

I'm avoiding the worst as best I can. Still hitting the odd ones. You get good news from the doc? Avoided a big pothole...

Can you imagine the traffic speed as drivers slow down to taste a new piece of road.

1mm to the worse? Odd diagnosis from a doc.
Can't exactly leave it behind as you leave the hospital, can you.
We're at about 2/3rd's of what you have. With nearly all that in the last ten hours. Wind and rain eased in the last half hour.
Stuffed pockets might have helped stop you flying away in the wind.
