Well, t'is a dull, dry, and breezy start to the day round these parts. Torrential downpours didn't turn up in the early hours.
Appointment later and see what's what.
Stay good...

Dry day here today (so far)

So they should be safe from things going wrong.
You can wait the four weeks, without giving in to temptation. The rest tomorrow, it's not supposed to be raining!
Do the smaller variety(ies) need peeling prior to pickling. Wouldn't a wash, and nipping be good enough? Might save a bit of work for you, and save you from looking as though you've just had a bloodbath in the kitchen.
Get them too close and they might get "cosy" with the one either side of them. If you know what I mean...

More beet done today, another (almost) two jars so I know that two clumps will do 3 of the jars I have so....
I used the same vinegar mix as before so if okay, I'll get more jars and get the winters supply made...

Think we're catching up on you precipitation wise. Thanks mainly to the light rain these last few hours of the 27th.

More beet done today, another (almost) two jars so I know that two clumps will do 3 of the jars I have so....
I used the same vinegar mix as before so if okay, I'll get more jars and get the winters supply made...
Date of opening already in the calender. I spelt it rong, I now..

You ever think of altering yer vinegar mix on one batch, just to see if there's any improvement. When will you know if it's reight, not wrong. What'd tha do with the jars you used last year.
And yer already counting down the days until you can open them.

Bad day, does it include being on a train that broke down just after the rear doors cleared the platform?

I should have had that beer,
I was a guest of Forth Valley for 20 hrs and they let me go almost 24 hrs ago
PS not the jail...
A little problem has arisen but given good care and attention although the scan yesterday never materialised and is now tomorrow..
I've had the main one..
so typing is a bit of a chore just now but if you take my right arm away, I'm okay....
My wedding anniversary today so busy
