Nae luck..........and tomorrow isn't looking good either

I was up at the crack of dawn and decided to get out. On the bike for 4.30 and got 48 miles in before breakfast. It was much fresher and I was actually slightly chilly on the descents. Quite enjoyed it though.

I now have a painter here doing my outside walls so better go and make him a cuppa and keep him sweet. Lol

My step mum left a fair bit of money which dad said was of no use to him so he kindly gave my brother and myself a nice gift so I'm getting new windows and doing bits and pieces too.

Aye, after the leaky pipe(twice),
it brought the kitchen revamp forward,
everything would have been done but for family stuff.
Still, the tiler to contact..
then there's still more to do.

On the cuppa theme,
our council started what they called Garden Tidy years ago for older folk.
We got told to never refuse a cuppa, drink etc from any of the houses we were at as we may have been the only contact some old biddy may have.
It got that we had to do a rota to see who got the cuppa, etc..
Not many loos when out and about LOL.
Mind you the home baking.

They stopped it, sadly as I would have qualified next year
