Good afternoon peeps. I'm not at all well. Was supposed to be going away today but I've had to postpone as I've got some horrible bug. Sneezing, raging headache, sore throat. :angry:

Does anyone on here know anything about dogs? Is there a domestic dog that is similar in shape, colour and size to a husky?

The only huskies I have seen are the ones that pull sledges in the snow. This was dog going for a walk, he had a man on a lead with him. I describe it that way, as it was definitely the dog taking him for a walk, not t'other way round.
There's a bloke near me who has two husky looking dogs, the pull him along in his wheelchair.

Maybe an Alaskan Malamute?!

Those dogs are so majestic. A client of mine has a beautiful staffie - shes a little timid and nervous when he leaves her tethered and steps out of sight for a while but she is such a sweetheart. people in the office are just all over her!

-- Just chilling and sipping some yorkshire after finishing this weeks cleaning :hugs::hugs:

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. Having looked at the relevant pics of the suggestions on tinternet, the Alaskan Malamute looks very similar to what I saw. If I get a chance to speak to the owner, I'all ask her. :giggle:

The end of my garden has a path along it, and often people walk their dogs get taken for a walk there. I sort of assumed that a husky would not make a good domestic pet.

Malamute..
ah, reminds me of a favourite poem..

the 1st verse

A bunch of the boys were whooping it up in the Malamute saloon;
The kid that handles the music-box was hitting a jag-time tune;
Back of the bar, in a solo game, sat Dangerous Dan McGrew,
And watching his luck was his light-o'-love, the lady that's known as Lou.

Maybe an Alaskan Malamute?

Big news for me! I was hired yesterday to do some content writing for the next three to six months, by a guy in Portland, OR!

More big news: Have a piece being published in Momentum Mag in the US mid-April.

Celebrating with tea, of course!
Absolutely fantastic news ...

Now the readies can start rolling in & one job may lead to several others.

:thumbsup:

On a side note - Ive just spent a few mins picking out small pieces of glass from my tyres. I count no less than 3 holes in the front tyre where its deep & big enough that i can see the blue foam/protection layer on my Durano's.

going to fill the holes with some rubber solution. but im worried and wondering if i should just straight up swap the tyres out for Rubino's. Either way, my luck is going to run out sooner or later :tongue:

Bad news @RoubaixCube

I know someone who is about to post up a pair of new, boxed Durano's in the For Sale section in a few days time ;) as they don't use them. ;)

How are we all diddlin' ?

Good I hope :thumbsup:
