Earring of the day:
Ouch. No lasting damage I hope.
Any helmet having taking impact, would be a write-off. I go no further than that, here.

Well, I have been busy at work, O.T & busy/in demand on the For Sale thread too, which is good.

So your insurance has stumped up ?
&
Do you use a cycle specific insurer or just household insurance?
Sorry to be nosey, just wondering 'what if' for myself re insurance.
Good to hear you are essentially OK & recovering nicely.

Try your home contents insurance, if you have any, as there may be personal effects away from home covered under standard cover or All Risks section. Depends on the cover sections, definitions and exclusions though.Called the insurance and was told there wasnt a 'bike agent' available that i could speak to......
Not off to a good start at all
I did manage to strike a deal with my LBS in the end so they only charged me £20 for a job that should have cost me £40 if not more so Im not too fussed about that.... I do want that helmet replaced though but I dont think im going to get it as the insurance only covers the bike![]()
