I am really not, but I am getting there. I am doing a 10k walk in a couple of weeks, I am beginning to think I am a glutton for punishment.
Walking is good too. Don't know what age you are, but I'll be 57 soon and I know it's good to have some weight bearing exercise for the old bones too. I probably enjoy walking as much if not more than cycling.

I am 40, I do love to walk as well. Just not quite that far all in one go. I am more your couple of miles in to town, saunter round and bus back type of a girl. I am determined this year though, I lost two stone last year and want to match if not beat that this year.

Good afternoon Tea people. What glorious weather! I'm off out soon in search of a bigger crate for the Manchester. He has to stoop to get in the one he has had since a pup. They are expensive items - but I suppose the new will will last him for the rest of his life. It occurred to me today that he is likely to outlive me.

I agree with all that. I had intended to buy a bike here when we came for the winter but decided the drivers are just a bit too crazy to share the road with them. I have been doing 2-2.5 hour fast paced walks 6 days a week and have loved getting around that way. I have managed to drop a little weight while keeping fit.

Back on bike next week.

Well, we had our last Greek karaoke for a few months last night - back in Ireland tomorrow night.

Still, I got a few lovely compliments from the locals in relation to my Greek singing/speaking so that will keep me motivated to continue the learning of both over our 'summer'. I'm already excited about next winter here!!
I'll watch for you coming over, don't forget to wave!
