So far, no reported deaths or serious injuries - which is a bit of a miracle. The infrastructure is pretty much gone, though.

That's the main thing. Buildings and such are much easier than people to replace.

I have just used Strava for the first time, apparently I am 2nd in some table or other, all I can say is there must be some very slow cyclists in Aylesbury. I did love a longer route into work though,

Careful...............it can get very addictive if you let it. Lol. Once you start seeing your name climb up these tables you will be working harder every day to get better!

Just be careful and not do what I did and nearly kill myself trying on a downhill one.

No fear of that, I can barely take my brakes off going downhill, I envy those who can just fly past, I am too scared!

I learned from my mistake and am an awful lot more cautious now. Just not worth it.

Apparently 2 people are dead from an RTA outside of Fort Mac. Those, remarkably (and I say that sombrely), are the first two casualties of the fire.

Going quiet now.

Four & half hours, and I'll be getting up ready to start out at Five, finishing in just under twenty-two hour from now. Then onto the Leisure Centre until about three & back at half eight.

Oh...you just reminded me! I guess I ought to do my citizen's duty. Trouble is, the candidate I would vote for hasn't a hope of getting in. So I always have to agonise about whether to do tactical voting.

Just picked my medication up from the chemist and the Chemist conducted a formal interview with me in a side room! He just asked questions about whether I had any problems and (the cheek!) 'do you always remember to take them?' He somehow made me feel like an OAP... oops, I am an OAP! I suppose its a new requirement for chemists or something. I should have asked.
