Bimbling along ...
Well, first I'm flying about 17,500km, then over 7 days I'm cycling almost 800km, mainly in the Pyrenees and Alps. :smile: I'm looking forward to it.
That's a lot of flying. Do you live in Outer Mongolia (as my mum used to say)? ^_^ Sounds like a fantastic cycling holiday though, wish I was coming with you, although I'm not a fan of hills so the Alps would probably murder my legs. Have a good time.

Very basic, and tasty.
Boil, then simmer blackberries for an hour in 5 pints of water, then leave to steep for several days. Strain and add 1lb of sugar plus the yeast.
After a week or so, add another 1 lb of sugar, top up to a gallon and ferment out.
How does it turn out - is it sweet?
