The Greeks have a great word for 'weekend'. Its 'σαββατοκύριακο' (sav a toe kier e a koh), which is basically the words for Saturday and Sunday joined together, although there is a tiny change because the feminine gender of Sunday changes to match the neuter gender of Saturday.
