Rather you than me. That's way too hot!Nope, Melbourne's changed its mind, again. It briefly reached 34, but is now about 32.5. I can handle that easily!![]()
What do Greek Xmas cards look like?Good morning all.
It's a lovely day here. After lunch we'll be going out to buy some Greek Xmas cards and maybe pop into a music shop to look for a few CD's to bring home. Just an idle day in the sun really.
Home made lamb burgers tonight, with home-made mayo, red onions, gherkins, chips and salad. Minced lamb found buried in freezer.Similar scenes to the U.K. cards, despite the climate. However, the written bits are in Greek so one will get phrases like 'Χαρούμενες γιορτές' which means 'happy holidays' or 'με τις καλύτερες ευχές' which means 'with best wishes'.What do Greek Xmas cards look like?
Dead before it went in and got buried I presume. Its raining quite a lot today.Home made lamb burgers tonight, with home-made mayo, red onions, gherkins, chips and salad. Minced lamb found buried in freezer.
Wheelspin!Driving conditions were fine when it was lashing it, a bit later it was just fine stuff and it became extremely slippy.
It keeps you on your toes then

t'ad wings!I was showing my grandson the birds in the garden this afternoon (there were loads, due to the new supplies loaded onto the bird feeder. Blackbirds, a robin, tits aplenty, a solitary sparrow, a magpie and a herd of starlings)
Pointing at a pigeon on the fence, he said QUACK!
Not far off I suppose![]()
Wheelspin!
Short drivers or high sills?

Wheelspin, short drivers or high sills?Quite a lot starting away.
Dead before it went in and got buried I presume.
I believe so. But it had been there so long it was hard to tell. How can they be similar to scenes on UK cards (typically snow covered cottages, snowmen, robins)?Similar scenes to the U.K. cards, despite the climate.
