Chilly wind here but I have had a very short and very slow tootle to kick off the year.

An awfy easy run today, lots of cheery Happy New Greetings passed, bike washed a careful caress later with wipes, and the chain to lube..

I have indulged in a little cyclo-retail therapy today. My roadie will thank me. I have also had Eric apart and given him a good old clean. Note to self; do not save 2 quid with Halfords own brand bike cleaner. Buy Muc-off and done with. I am not convinced he is as clean as he could be. Tomorrow the poor thing will be mingling again.

Second Question of the year, Any volunteers(see first question)?

I never volunteer (without knowing the task) ....

However, this backfired once when, without divulging the task my Sgt/Crew Commander asked for volunteers.
Three did volunteer, one being himself, the task was a deployment to Sardinia for 6 weeks on exercise.

Still pee's me off to this day !
