Thanks for the well wishes for Mrs B folks - we both appreciate that. Unfortunately the problem is dementia so it will only get worse and the best we can hope for is a slow progression. New meds were started this week and she's tolerating them well so we hope they will hold back the flood for a good while. Yet another brain scan will be done in the months ahead in an effort to classify the exact type of dementia/alzheimers. In the meantime we are struggling a bit but awaiting a call from a dementia nurse who may be able to give us more info. It's such a cruel condition because the partner, like me, is usually getting on in years too and so also has to struggle while watching the devastation of their loved one as they struggle to cope. As luck would have it I've always been a glass half full type so I'm going to make sure we max out on everything while we can - hence the spending spree which started today - our long term plans have all been moved to the short term! Funny thing is that now that I know she can't help herself when she does bizarre things I no longer get piqued so we are getting on better than ever.

Ooo, exciting! I'm sure you will love it. I even watch films on it since the screen is a decent size.

The keyboard is rechargeable and I haven't had to give mine a charge since the first one when I got it so far and that must be at least a couple of months now. The mouse takes AAA size batteries and once the originals run out I have been using the Eneloop rechargeables which last a long time.

Oh, and I actually keep forgetting it is touch screen and still use the mouse 99% of the time.
On top of that we ordered a Lenovo IdeaPad 14" 510s for Mrs B as it was on such a great deal and the spec was so much better than her aged laptop. That's both of us happy for a few moments!:wahhey::dance:

Good Morning :hello:
Hi everyone. :hello:

It's been warm all night and seems to be working up to a blistering day here. The temps here are similar to Cyprus at the moment - never thought I'd be experiencing that in Ireland.
Where else but...
Good morning everyone. It started to rain with big spots at around 4.50, then started the heavier rain amd thunder. Somehow i managed to fall asleep again (miracle) and have only just woken up. Much fresher day here now (thank god).
Not a thing here.

A spot of rain and they've a downpour down South.

Suppose Aran doesn't want to take it off?

Morning?

'Disgusted' of 'fill in SE county village' writes into the Daily Mail, BBC and complains about the lack of emergency service action and blames everything under the sun..

Meanwhile ,

In Scotland..
'Bit fresh out, love'
The North
'Bye, eck, bit breezy'
Wales
'Dai, it's raining a bit'

Middle left side of the photo I just realised, the entrance to the house I maintained the garden for 10 years, weird eh?

Looks like the grass needs cutting now though.
