Evening. I haven't done all that much today.......mostly due my lower back and sciatica still giving me lots of pain. Struggled through it to give all the woodwork round the new windows and door and coat of wax oil but paying for it now as I can hardly walk. My limp is definititely worse than Andy Murrays. Lol.

House is boiling as the sun is beating down and I have no blinds or curtains back up yet.

I'm sure Mr C floats about over the UK on a cloud with a big telescope:laugh:

I had a shock today,
I heard something I thought I would never hear..

'I'm shopped out!' said Mrs Mhor...
I think some mint choc ice cream to calm me down, eh?
Maxed out the cards and run out of cash!

Anyone get anything good for Amazon prime day??

I purchased a new NAS to replace the one on my network that ive been running for a few years. There was something for everybody but everything just seemed kinda boring, almost like they were just trying to clear excess junk from the warehouse.

There were quite a few good deals to be had though nothing really spectacular.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

Mr WD bought a new kindle fire 8 inch, to replace one that is on the blink. £49.99 instead of £79.99.

Nope, 13 days walking about in 30°C sunshine has taken its toll:laugh:
I've 28 hours of freedom left:angry:

Good deals all disappeared early (for all there really was)..
Serious amount of tat on sale,
warehouse clearance, I got to page 21 and gave up.
Parcel downstairs for the youngest Mhor though with the Prime Day tape on it

Mine too. The one with the keyboard? Still works ok.
Yep, the same.
I've a pile of books on it and would like to read in kip but can't be bothered to get up and put the light out:laugh:
I tend to check the 99p daily deals and at that price you pick up plenty.

Can you use them like a Kindlle,
and read in the dark?
My Kindle is the antique one

Yes. It isnt the e reader, but just as good. Internet connection, aps, and you can download the e reader ap and download all your books onto it and read them. You can also expand the memory up to 256 gb with a micro SD card. Great little tablets, and of course you can get all your amazon music and amazon tv if you have signecd up for it.
