Best o'luck, on all of those. Thanks again. It's an unwelcome thing that life just revolves 100% around the person with dementia who starts to disappear into their own little world as the carer disappears as far as being an individual is concerned. However, some of the experts are helpful, for example, the language therapist was able to teach us a couple of things that mean that I can now understand Mrs B when she can't find the words to string a sentence together where before it was such a frustration for both of us. However, Mrs B is still in the very early stages and the meds are great so we are still having a great life most of the time. The early diagnosis was Alzheimers and Vascular Dementia (called Mixed Dementia), although we are still awaiting a PET brain scan to firm up on that. I hope we get a date for the scan before we head off for Cyprus.
