It does happen!
Watching the sunrise from the top of Ben Nevis is worth the short walk.

It got a bit damp when we were on the way from the karaoke last night and then chucked it down soon after we got home. Lovely day here now. Already been out and about and now waiting for the guys to finish a few trimmings in the kitchen this afternoon. I'll now have to put up with Mrs B picking new paint and trinkets for the kitchen - that's a nightmare as she can't make her mind up about anything(never could).

Watching the sunrise from the top of Ben Nevis is worth the short walk.

Back in my mountain climbing days I used to like climbing hills to have my cuppa on the summits while I watched the sunrise. I've done that in the Mournes, the Lake District and the Highlands. When I climbed the Ben I went up Carn Mor Dearg and across the arête to the summit during a hot July day when there were still small pockets of snow on the back of Ben Nevis! Ah, halcyon days, eh!
