Good morning everyone.
We get tumbleweeds in Cyprus. Not quite on that scale, however, a couple of years back an apartment we were in got bombarded by them and I have climbed a hill and had to fight them off as I walked - right prickly, and sometimes quite large, beggars they are!

Friday the 13th went quite well for us! Mrs B got started on extra meds and our daughter got cash back on a booked Monarch flight!
The extra meds may make things better for Mrs B and should help me by settling her at night and calming her during the day; all of which may help to alleviate my exhaustion, which will enable me to handle her better, which will help her and so on .... to create a virtuous circle.
The cash from Monarch was money we had supplied so that our daughter, with her husband and 2 children, could visit us in Cyprus early next year to give Mrs B a lift so we are happy that she can rebook now. All's well today - so far!

Unless something that prevents us crops up in the next few days. We have started packing.

Passed a pub where it was being assassinated, again!I wish I had a penny for every time I've heard that song sung badly at karaoke.
Can't be a "proper pub" if they've that and not the "big game" live though.
A proper pub has no music and no TV. It helps a lot if they have Timothy Taylor Landord, but any decent ale will do.
