I realise you're doing most of the work, but why the telephone pole out the window when most make do with a wire? Even then it doesn't go out the window, in most places........

When we tried the wire out the door it decapitated a couple of postmen. This led to rather a lot of form filling, so we gave up on that idea and switched to a pole. Unfortunately, a pole in anything other a vertical orientation is heavy and uncontrollable, and we had trouble with it falling down and blocking the road. Also, not being able to shut the door was rather more of a nuisance than you'd imagine.

Eee by gum that were nippy this morning! Lol. Gorgeous walk by the river at first light. Everything was white and the first sign of slippy roads/pavements. Lovely blue sky now and sunshine. Will be another cold one tonight. Better take a cover for the windscreen for leaving dads at 10.30pm I think.
