First cuppa of the day today. Just found out a high school friend of mine died this past week. 25 years old. We weren't super close, but he was still a friend.

That just compounds the week I've had. My father's best friend of 25 years died on Thursday night after having been given 2 weeks to live on the Monday due to a return of cancer that he'd battled with. 52 years old. Dad's childhood friend - gone. Two kids in the States on athletic scholarships to university...

F*ck.
