Dragonfly weather here.....

............and I saw a bumblebee yesterday. My whitebeam has enormous buds on it, so it clearly doesn't know it supposed to be winter.

We've been sitting on the balcony having coffee but I've had to come in to cool down a little as it feels like more than the forecast 22c - and we aren't even in the direct sun yet!!

Very few bees this year.
Have you tried telling your whitebeam it's winter. They reckon talking to plants is good for them.

Managed to go to a shop and ask if they have any Christmas cards printed in Greek and then off to the P.O. to ask for the required number of stamps to send Christmas cards to Ireland and England and said it all in Greek. I’m so pleased with myself I think I’ll have a few pints to celebrate tonight.

Managed to go to a shop and ask if they have any Christmas cards printed in Greek and then off to the P.O. to ask for the required number of stamps to send Christmas cards to Ireland and England and said it all in Greek. I’m so pleased with myself I think I’ll have a few pints to celebrate tonight.
