Just to say, among the derision heaped on your country from here, yer man Southgate has gained a healthy respect amongst fans up here.

Heard some interesting things about him when he was a player.
Also he once told a story about when he arrived at Crystal Palace as a youngster. I think he mentioned he had a load of O levels and possibly A levels and was studying journalism when the opportunity arose. He landed in amongst the Palace squad that was basically full of South London street lads. Needless to say the used to rib him in a nice way

Yep. My early wander put me off doing anything else. Legs felt like ton weights they were so lethargic so it’s been feet up and pottering on the iPad while watching Le Tour.

Yes it has gone a bit humid of late.
All the early turns have caught up on me a bit. Got home and tried to watch a bit of the tour and slept through the majority of it. Must have had nearly 3 hours sleep. I think this morning 03:00 get up just about finished me.

My sleep pattern is all over the place due to rounder watching. I can rerun the game when I get up in the morning but no, stupid here lies and watches it most mornings..(12.07 kick off)
