First mug* of the day. Severe weather warning still in place: sounds like a good day to make models and watch YouTube videos of cycle tourists.

Couldn't you just have wet/windy/warm/cold weather like anywhere else?

I've starting watching some woman mudlarking on the Thames on the Oo Toob, so think I must have a shuffty in the local area , Mrs M thinks I'll look daft, 'Got a head start, haven't I?' .
I remember in my old digging up the foreshore for worms(sea fishing), finding some old local Co-op tokens and taking them to the local museum but early 20th Century but they accepted them
Where's me old trowel?

Is the nearby water tidal, because that's where you'll have to do it.

I think I've mentioned before that the Germans never invented a word for "Subtle". This applies to the weather as well as anything else.

Subtil, Schwerdeutbar, Fast, unmerklich.

They are either an adopted English word (Subtil) or don't really carry the same meaning (Lit: "Hard to see/recognise", "Almost" "Unnoticeable" respectively)

None of those work for our weather either.

Cracking day out with a light shower near the end of the ride..
put a wee effort into it today,
felt guilty as youngest Mhor was out completing her first half-marathon..
