Interesting to read about Dumbarton. I lived in Bowling for 12 years which is just up the road from there and we made use of Dumbarton library and swimming pool which we missed a lot when we moved away.
I hope to spend Christmas and new year within sight of Connel Bridge and easy reach of a good cycle path.
I like Stonehaven but unlikely to be back since I no longer have a motorhome and the site there does not take tents.
