It's not night! That wisnae the day![]()

Why not!!
That it's out, shouldn't be a surprise. If the atomic clock can be wrong, what hope has your computer got.
There'll be no shortage of people willing to laugh at you. Don't worry about that.
Just saying you have snow isn't good enough. How deep?, how high(altitude) is needed as well.
That's a bit like a forecaster saying there'll be wind.
Wellies, also good for walking in the snow.
Morning??
Oor Mo did the round walk of the hill yesterday,It's not night!
Just being missen. You'd not trust me if I started being someone else.Thanks...
might include it in my radio schedule...
getting the lower hills done first before thinking of higher stuff,
I'll have a shuffty at how others have got on in the past,
likely a weekend target when radio is busier.
Cantankerous as usual I see
Snowy hill behind that view..
on Ben a Hone (tricky hill to pronounce as most are up here)
Found it funny how they renamed a favourite hill of Queen Vicky's to Lochnagar, obviously more grandiose than the original of
"The summit itself may be referred to as Cac Càrn Beag, meaning "small cairn of faeces" in Scottish Gaelic, or less euphemistically, 'little pile of shoot' " tnx to Wikipedia

S'cuse me I ran.........well jogged........well shuffled slowly!Oor Mo did the round walk of the hill yesterday,
I'll not mention the Strava title of her walk (or the walk shape)
Apologies..S'cuse me I ran.........well jogged........well shuffled slowly!![]()
I knew that bit but thought the summit title was a bit more funnier, it's great how the old Scots who named these hills were so down to earth..Just being missen. You'd not trust me if I started being someone else.
Better still is
"Lochnagar's alternative name, Beinn Chìochan (mountain of breasts), is probably the original Gaelic name for the mountain.".
Wonder if one leg is longer than the other.Apologies..
I couldn't read for giggling
Yer doing great..
I wish I could run (or shuffle)..
never could..

lots of paps out there..
but I'm off for a short out..
I hope that continues BobbyAm fine..
an extended cycle along the canal bank today (and adjoining roads) to test out the leg seems to have gone okay....
might try a wee hill next time out but not the Anglirou or whatever it is called, maybe in December![]()
One of my nephews is already getting excited about the prospect of Pres Biden visiting the place of his Irish roots as it's not far from where he lives - if the day comes I may even go down for a family visit as he's never met Mrs B.It's working..
I'd need a hurricane tailwind to 'help' me up a hill of that magnitude OR a sticky bottle
Off to get the popcorn ready for this US electoral clown fest....
Sounds nice. It'sWe have snow! Well, there is a covering up on Ben Chonzie anyway. The air feels colder just thinking about it. Morning donder done once the rain eased off. Wellies this morning as it's getting mucky. Don't really like walking far in them as they're not that cushioned or supportive but nice to tramp through the puddles and muck without bothering.
That's something I miss these days as I used to spend a lot of time in the mountains. We junked most of our gear when we decluttered last spring and I felt sad when we did that. That'll be my recent return to mountaineering done for the next six months...
(saves the embarrassment of my calf(not the cow kind)
It is noticeably cooler, I would nip up to my wee viewpoint to the N to see but avoiding hills for a while yet.
I'll stick to the canal just now..
Didn't know the Knock you walk round is a Marilyn..
good views from the top?
That photograph gives me itchy feet
OwdoMorning all
More possible complications(onward chain issues) with our proposed purchase so I'm taking Mrs B back to the property we viewed last week(no onward chain) for a second look tomorrow. She wasn't keen last week but may view it differently now ours is sale agreed and we should have the cash for immediate refurbishment. I had a good chat with the estate agent so I now know the sellers bottom line which will leave us with more cash to spend on the place. I thought the place warranted a more detailed look but felt a bit rushed because another couple were waiting to view. The agent did say to make contact if we wanted a second look but we didn't take him up on that because we thought we were settled on our original choice.
The stress of it all is going to kill me!!
